My favorite Simple Ways to Display Holiday Cards rounded-up for inspiration this holiday season.

Receiving holiday cards is the most uplifting mail of the year. I love seeing how much kids have grown and what milestones my family and friends have had over the past year.

Here are my top 5 simple ways for displaying holiday cards – which would look great displaying cards by yours truly. 🙂 I love that each of these ways ensures you have a joyful display of holiday cheer and not end up with all of the cards in a pile of clutter at the end of the holiday season.

1. HANGING CARDS FROM KITCHEN CABINETS

This is how I end up displaying Christmas cards in our home each year. Some years, I’m festive and add ribbon to the cabinets to hang each card from with a glue dot. Most years, I wiggle the cards in between the wood pane on our glass door kitchen cabinets. I love this simple display featured in Southern Living. The neutral black ribbon and placement of each card looks elegant and thoughtful.

2. RUSTIC FRAME DISPLAY

My handy husband made me a rustic wood and chicken wire frame a few years ago to display our kids’ artwork in the kitchen. I love this idea from Lolly Jane to add wreath to the center of the frame and use it as a festive way to display holiday cards. And, she has a simple tutorial for building a rustic chicken wire frame if you need one.

3. BANISTER GARLAND DISPLAY

What a cute idea from Nicole Banuelos to turn your stair banister decorations into a Holiday Card display. While she beautifully hangs her cards with ribbon, I’ve also seen it done by just using a clothespin to attach the cards to the garland.

4. FARMHOUSE SIGN DISPLAY

This modern farmhouse sign display from The How to Home can be used year after year to display holiday cards. She has a tutorial to follow to simply create this display and you can customize the colors to match your holiday decor style.

5. WASHI CHRISTMAS TREE DISPLAY

A little washi tape, garland, string, and clips turns into an adorable Washi Christmas Tree display from Thyme is Honey. If you have toddlers at home like me, you can place your washi tree a little higher on your wall to keep little exploring hands from accidentally tearing it down. 🙂
