As of mom of two toddlers, non-candy Valentines are my favorite. Young kids get to share friendship and a treat with friends without the unnecessary sugar rush. It’s a win-win. Kids have fun at their school parties and parents are happy they’re bringing home snacks or a small toy.
Since you’re doing most of the work preparing Valentines for your kids at this young age, I’ve made it easy by offering all cards in my Valentines Collection as either digital files or printed cards. Digital files are available immediately upon ordering, which is perfect when Valentine’s Day sneaks up on you and you needed cards yesterday. Printed cards are individually printed and ship directly to your mailbox, saving you time cutting each card out. No matter which option you choose, these cards will help you easily pull together crafty Valentines that kids and parents will love.
NON-CANDY VALENTINE IDEAS
These are a few of my favorite cards from the Non-Candy Valentines Collection with ideas on what fun treat to include for school parties.
I pair the Nautical Valentines or Fishing Valentines with a bag of Goldfish crackers. The Fruit Valentines Cards coordinate perfectly with a Cutie or small orange. Cereal Valentines can be taped to a snack-size box of cereal. A small tube of bubbles can be taped onto the Bubbles Valentines Cards. My favorite for little kids under one is to tape a rubber duck to the Duck Valentines Cards. A bag of Pirate’s Booty goes perfectly with the Popcorn Valentines.
